Ujwal Koteesh is a Quality Assurance Specialist at VMware, with 8 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, specializing in WebRTC, automation testing, API testing, and performance validation.

Career Journey:
- Started career in 2014 at Sonus Networks as a full-time WebRTC QA Engineer, focusing on WebRTC SDK API testing. Developed an end-to-end WebRTC automation framework using Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like Spectra, Ixia, and Exfo, and REST API testing using Postman and JSON.
- Expert in cross-browser and cross-platform testing, along with interop testing between WebRTC and SIP endpoints.
Expertise:
- Product Knowledge: Experience with RIBBON products like SBX, QSBC, PSX, EMS, WebRTC, and GSX. Expertise in deploying and configuring products in various environments like Cloud (OpenStack), VMware, and bare metal on different Linux flavors.
- In-depth knowledge of VOIP protocols like SIP and H323, as well as SDP, DNS, RTP/RTCP, UDP, TCP/TLS, and other L2/L3 protocols such as ARP and IPsec.
- Experience with softphones like Kapanga, Bria, Linphone, Jitsi, Cisco Jabber, and Cisco Room systems.
Testing Methodologies:
- In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies and testing models, with experience in using automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and RestAssured for WebRTC and room system validation.
- Proficient with Jenkins for automation and integrated frameworks, making him skilled in continuous integration and validation processes.
API Testing & Automation:
- Extensive experience in API testing and automation using tools like RestAssured, Postman, and JMeter, focusing on responsiveness and performance testing of APIs.
Training & Mentorship: Ujwal has delivered corporate training sessions on WebRTC, Git, GitHub, and QA methodologies, helping teams enhance their understanding and skills in testing and automation.
